The goal at the Center for Clinical Age Management is to help educate clients about age management in order to design a program to address each client’s medical issues and determine their longevity goals.

The Center is a multispeciality group that offers state-of-the-art electronic body composition analysis by harmless near infrared light to measure lean mass, body fat, body mass index (BMI); physical strength is measured by spirometry and a handgrip dynamometer.

The staff includes a board certified anti-aging physician, a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a bariartric physician.

The medical director, Dr. Allyn Brizel, is trained in Internal Medicine at the Nassau County Medical Center, Long Island, New York. Dr. Brizel is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, a certified menopause clinician, a certified clinical bone densitometrist, a member of the North American Menopause Society, a member of the Andropause Society, the International Society of Bone Densitometry, the National Osteoporosis Foundation and the American Nutraceutical Association.

His introduction to longevity medicine was through his wife. At a young age, she was diagnosed with “iatrogenic-induced premature menopause.” She suffered many of the classic symptoms of menopause: depression, mood swings, sleep disruption and fatigue. At the time, she was placed on a “one-size-fits-all” HRT program of Premarin and Provera.

Her symptoms worsened to the point that she removed herself from HRT. Later, she tried bio-identical HRT and in a short time, her symptoms subsided.

Clients to the Centre may chose from several diagnostic tests:

• Electro Beam Computer Tomography (EBT) - This measures coronary heart disease and lung disease risk.
• Diagnostic Blood Panels & Kronos Science Test Panels - These measure oxidative stress from free radicals, hormone balance, cardiovascular risk, cancer risk, liver function, renal function and trace metal analysis.
